Police Scanner
In this file, a recording of a police scanner was used. The original file was at a low volume, with intermittent noise when either speaker enters. The file was cleaned of as much noise as possible without loosing any of the clarity of the voices. Additional filtering was incorporated for extra noise reduction and spoken frequency enhancement.

Woman on Train
In this recording, a woman has a phone conversation on the train. She is speaking Dutch with extraneous noise introduced by other passengers and train noise. In cleaning this file, we first made a noise sample of the train, which was used to cancel out the train sounds. We then used equalization and noise floor reduction techniques to highlight the woman’s voice.

Man in Crowded Room
This recording has several people in a room. In order to focus in on the man speaking, we reduced the noise floor of the file, and then analyzed the mans voice. This analysis was then dialed in to our filtering software in order to accentuate clarity in the his voice.

Answering Machine
An crude recording of an answering machine message (in French) is heard through ambient room noise. We used the noise sampling technology here to remove both the ambient noise in the room as well as the main noises inherent to an answering machine. This file is similar to most telephone-based noise removal projects.
